Invitations Coming Soon
We have completed the invitations! Yippee! We hand made them using supplies from PaperZone and Craft Warehouse. Ryan and I strategically worked on the invitations at my parent's house, which encouraged them to help. Thanks to my dad for the wonderful bow tying and my mom for placing the paper. Watch for the invitation in the mail, along with the RSVP.
We will putting the directions on the website and you can access our registry by clicking on the registry link to the right or going to honeyfund.com.

Less Than 3 Months! Ahhhhh!
I can't believe we are only three months away from tying the knot. Everything is really starting to fall into place. We have finalized our DJ (http://www.grandesounds.com/) who we really like. He is in the middle of planning his own wedding. While planning his wedding he started to realize how expensive everything is for the couple. With this new insight, we reduced his cost for weddings. I think that is so respectable and I would recommend him to anyone in the area.
We have also finalized the caterer. We are using Wooden Nickle Catering, which I didn't even know existed until recently. They held an event in Mt. Angel where we got to try a variety of their caterering foods. Ryan's parents, Ryan, and I all attended and loved the food. We are working Adrienne, who has been so helpful.
My mom, dad, and I went out to the wedding site just last week. It looked even more beautiful than before. The site is a private home in Aurora. Spring has brought so much life to the yard and surrounding fields. Seeing the site for the third time made me even more excited for the day.

4 Months and Counting
I can't believe the wedding is only 4 months away. Ryan just said this morning that it is amazing to look at all the planning we have done, especially since we are still working on our house and yard. We are finalizing the photographer, DJ, and officiant. My sisters have been huge helps with getting the address book figured out. My mom has been a saint and has diligently worked to create centerpieces and other wedding decorations. She rocks! Kriss (Ryan's Mom) is giving us a very special and personal gift, but you have to wait for the wedding to find out what it is. Thanks to our family and friends who have been so supportive and helpful, we couldn't do this without you!

We're Engaged
After 8 years together, Ryan and I are engaged. On Thursday, February 11th, I came home at 8 pm after a long day at work and class. I walked into the house to find rose petals leading into the kitchen. The table had a delicious meal that Ryan had prepared as well as 8 beautiful red roses (symbolizes our 8 years together). Dinner was pretty typical with each of us talking about our day. At one point Ryan had mentioned that he was hot and I could see a little sweat building up on his forehead, but I didn't think too much of it. Once we finished eating, I volunteered to do the dishes and Ryan was quick to accept. He stood up to leave the dining room when he stopped and said, "What is this?" while bending down. When he rose, he had a little black box in his hand. I instantly was overwhelmed with emotion and began crying. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Since I could not speak I just hugged him tightly and cried. I couldn't believe that the day had finally come. After what felt like forever, I said "yes" and Ryan placed a gorgeous ring on my finger. Someone had asked me, "So who ended up doing the dishes?" Well, after calming down I jokingly told Ryan that I would do the dishes because I needed to practice being a "good wife." His reply was: "Great and when your done there is laundry to do."
